Important Notes

Must be US Citizen and reside in the Houston metro area. Must have a 
valid TDL 
and clean driving record. Must be able to get a TWIC (Transportation 
Worker 
Identification Credential) within 90 days of hire. This job 
description is based on a 
minimum of a 40 hour work week and is an exempt position. Special 
projects and 
deadlines will require longer hours in excess of the minimum.

Associate's degree (AA) or equivalent from two-year college or 
technical school; 
and two years in an industrial electronics (non-PC related) 
experience and/or 
training; or equivalent combination of education and experience in 
an industrial 
electronics (non-PC related) discipline. 

Working experience with energy industry standards and practices as 
related to flow 
metering devices and sensors including transmitters, meters, 
electronics, and other 
devices used in the measurement and related quality processes is 
required. 
Experience with metering control systems using programmable 
controllers and data 
communications including Ethernet/TCP is required for this position. 
Use of test 
equipment including but not limited to oscilloscopes, frequency 
generators, Volt 
Meters, milliamp calibration, and anti static procedures is also a 
prerequisite.

This position is primarily responsible for providing product support 
to our 
customers primarily by use of email and telephone. The specialist is 
responsible for 
providing investigative, testing, and technical support of the 
company's products on 
behalf of customers. Performs variety of electronic and software 
tests on electronic 
equipment, subassemblies, and parts. 

The Customer Support Specialist provides customer support by use of 
email and 
telephone contact. By providing a fast, concise response to customer 
problems, 
this position generates an important positive profile for the 
Company's products. 
The Customer Support Specialist is responsible for providing 
investigative, testing, 
and technical support of the Company's products on behalf of 
customers. This 
position performs a variety of electronic and software tests on 
electronic 
equipment, subassemblies, and parts and conducts all work duties 
with safety as a 
top priority.
