Responsibilities: Establish the strategic vision for growing profit through the development of new and existing products, as well as focusing on new product concepts, line extensions and the position of Xtreme Lashes LLC products. Lead new product development life cycle by generating new ideas, conducting research, and interfacing with R&D, packaging, and other departments necessary for new product creation. Determine long-term business plans to ensure maximization of sales performance including identification of product extension opportunities. Develop and manage the overall P & L, Bills of Material (BOM), production volume and the cost of goods sold (COGS) target for each new product. Manage the forecasting of shipments and consumptions - monthly, quarterly, annually. Analyze new product viability in terms of sales and profit goals. Synthesize sales volume potentials, cost of goods into a complete and concise proposal. Ensure planned volume and executed promotional programs/product projects are delivered on time and within budget. Identify, monitor and research all new active ingredient breakthroughs in anti-aging, skin care, and color cosmetics at top raw material supply houses and formulators Responsible for driving and developing the marketing strategies including advertising, packaging, pricing, expense budgets, profit plans, and future product development. Determine priorities and marketing strategies that will address changing consumer needs. Lead market research efforts to design, execute, and interpret results from customer studies in the field to understand consumer buying behavior and preferences Provide direction on copy evaluation and copy development. Link media timing to overall marketing and customer programs.. Drive the development and execution of product promotions and national displays. Provide guidance in career development of staff (where applicable) development of marketing skills and make recommendations about product assortment, pricing, and merchandising. Lead weekly taskforce and project meetings in the development of new products. Prerequisites: You have the ability to innovate, develop and execute against all product initiatives. Must be a self-starter who is comfortable with productive change. Your broad knowledge of the business is at all levels, from product/portfolios, competition, trade, advertising, promotion, finance, market research, human resources, and elements of a marketing mix. You possess strong analytical and research capabilities to evaluate product opportunities, challenges and uncover new consumer insights. You have a thorough understanding of the consumer and competitive dynamics of the product, the competitive set, and the implications for the business. You are a strategic and visionary thinker always coming up with new ideas before the competition. You are effective at prioritizing, implementating and monitoring of category plans and initiatives. You have strong communication skills to persuade others, articulate a point of view, and set direction. You are an advanced user of Excel and PowerPoint. Your experience spans over 5 - 7 years relevant work experience in the marketing and product management capacity. You have experience in color cosmetics and/or beauty and/or personal care. You are an expert at marketing plan management. You are a motivational manager developing talent within your team. You have obtained your Bachelor's degree, MBA highly preferred You are willing to reside in Spring, TX or Houston, TX, no telecommuting.
