The position requires hands-on design, 
development and build of established and new 
inflators for use in driver, passenger and side-
curtain air bag deployment.  A strong mechanical 
aptitude to apply the understanding of airbag 
inflator design and assembly is necessary.

This position is responsible for product cost-
cutting initiatives and yet still responsible to 
ensure compliance to all regulations and product 
integrity.

Well-rounded background working with design, 
build, test, and manufacturing groups.

Knowledge of Solid Works is a plus. 
 

Job Requirements: 

Bachelors in Mechanical Engineering or related.

Hands -on experience in metal working, crimping, 
machinery, and welding.

Pyrotechnics, combustion science, solid 
propellant technology is preferred. 
 
Travel to Mexico approximately 1 week every 6 
weeks.
