PRIMARY PURPOSE:

The candidate will be responsible for directing 
and coordinating the activities of workers 
engaged in the repair, maintenance, and 
installation of machines, tools, and equipment 
in the support of operations, buildings, 
grounds, and utility systems of an industrial 
plant.  Candidate should be familiar with 
Instrumentation and Electrical operations within 
a plant as well as Rotating and Gas Fired 
equipment.   Candidate to be familiar with World 
Class Manufacturing practices, with record of 
driving and implementing such practices. The 
role requires the ability to plan, develop, and 
implement new methods and procedures designed to 
improve operations through enhanced equipment 
reliability.  Role also includes responsibility 
for implementation of personnel actions (ie. 
promotions, transfers, disciplinary measures and 
discharge).


REQUIRED SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, AND EXPERIENCES:

Bachelor of Science in Mechanical, or Chemical 
Engineering;
Seven plus years working in an industrial 
facility, preferably in a chemical process 
production plant with three or more years of 
supervisory experience in maintenance or 
production.
Excellent leadership and organizational skills 
to manage, motivate and develop personnel and to 
facilitate cooperation between departments. 
Excellent verbal and written communication 
skills. 
Good computer skills with working knowledge of 
SAP, MS Outlook, MS Word, and MS Excel. 
Familiarity with Industrial Hygiene concepts and 
Personal Protective Equipment. 
Needs excellent understanding and grasp of OSHA 
standards, concepts, and procedures relating to 
Life Critical activities and Environmental 
Compliance.
