The ideal candidate will have the following 
qualifications.
A BS or higher Degree in Mechanical or Aerospace 
Engineering
Entry level to 5 years experience
A working knowledge of Solid Works or Equivalent 
Solid Modeling tools coupled with the 
willingness to convert to using Solid Works. 
Experience with MATLAB desired.
A working knowledge of core mechanical 
engineering principals in fluid dynamics, heat 
transfer and structures.
Experience with finite element analysis for 
structural and/or thermal analysis  
Preference will be given to engineers with 
knowledge of optics and optical mounting.
Work precisely with close attention to detail
Excellent communication skills.
 
The candidate will be involved in the design 
fabrication and test of mechanical systems and 
mechanisms developed in a research and product 
development environment.
