Job Description:

The RF Engineer will be responsible for the 
following activities: 

• Performing onsite site surveys, documenting 
and defending results 
• Create in-building system designs based on 
customer and WSP requirements 
• Generate propagation models using industry-
standard tools 
• Analyze and recommend all solution aspects 
including antenna types and placement, equipment 
manufacturer, etc. 
• Execute RF audit using industry-standard test 
tools 
• Evaluate RF audit data to determine design and 
macro network impact 
• Project manage deployment in the field 
• Deploying solutions in the field 
• Execute tests in the field including cable 
sweep/line testing, CW tests, etc. 
• Troubleshooting system problems/issues both 
remotely and onsite 
• Providing assistance/input to the sales team 
to help guide solution offerings 
• Other responsibilities as identified by 
management


Skills:

The qualified candidate will have the following 
experience: 
• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering 
(or equivalent) 
• 3 years experience designing in-building 
systems using industry standard design software 
• Deep knowledge of RF physics and modeling 
• 2 years experience as a WSP RF engineer 
(preferred) 
• Ability to discuss link budgets, design and 
network characteristics in discussions with WSPs 
and customers 
• Excellent customer communication skills 
• Working knowledge of TCP/IP and Ethernet 
communications 
• Ability to oversee subcontractors, track 
progress, escalate and resolve field issues 
• Ability to use MS Office products including 
Word, Excel, Visio, Outlook, Powerpoint 
• First hand AutoCAD experience 
• Ability to travel 50% of the time 
• Certification on multiple manufacturer’s 
products such as MobileAccess, ADC/LGC, ADRF, 
Andrew, Powerwave, SOLiD
