JOB DESCRIPTION:


The Human Resources Manager will serve as the primary point-of-
contact for client-facing staff for all Human Capital and 
development-related areas.  The individual will have 
responsibilities which span those of traditional of a broad-based 
Human Capital Generalist.  This role is hands-on and high-touch and 
requires a strong working knowledge of the employee lifecycle 
including, but not limited to: talent acquisition, selection, and 
attraction,; on-boarding and training; career development, 
progression and performance management; employee relations; 
compensation and benefits administration; payroll; HRIS; etc..

timely fashion.  Functions for this role include; recruiting, 
training, benefits, and working closely with the owners of the 
organization.

This position reports to the Regional Human Capital Lead and will 
work closely with Partners/business leads in the parent company.

Key Responsibilities

Generalist Responsibilities

Responsible for daily oversight and management of the Human 
Resources department, serving as single point of contact for overall 
Human Resources function 
Provide day-to-day and complex front-line Human Resources support 
and information to managers and employees from topics such as: 
payroll, compensation, HRIS, benefits administration, policies and 
procedure implementation and interpretation, coaching; metrics; and 
employee life cycle events such as new hires, on-boarding, 
promotions, transfers, separations, workers compensation, etc. 
Facilitate Compensation Reviews 
Administer and provide guidance and interpretation to department 
managers, supervisors and employees on employment, employment 
policies, immigration and other applicable federal, provincial and 
local human resources regulations 
Lead new hire on-boarding training: demonstrating and explaining 
internal processes and expectations, including, but not limited to: 
staffing, networking, communication, performance management, 
learning and development 
Responsible for providing input and updates to HRIS and time keeping 
system; record employee information, such as personal data, 
compensation, benefits, and tax data; termination date and reason 
Conduct exit interviews and identify patterns to create plans to 
address issues 
Recruitment, Workforce Planning & Talent Management

Work with leaders to identify skill gaps, develop job descriptions, 
conduct full cycle recruiting and plan timing of hires 
Assist management with maximizing the utilization of our people 
based on their skills and career development goals while meeting the 
needs of our clients and our business objectives 
Identify over- and under-utilized personnel, and recommend 
additional resources to balance their workload 
Identify performance gaps or morale issues amongst consultants or 
project teams and work with internal stakeholders to proactively 
address these issues 
Facilitate and coordinate the performance management process for all 
individuals in consistent with company policies, including: 
objective setting, performance appraisal and feedback and 
performance improvement programs 
Requirements/Additional Attributes

BS or BA Degree required or equivalent work experience.  
5 years of experience in either: financial service management 
consulting or professional services organization 
3 years’ experience in customer service, infrastructure support or 
call center environment—working with exempt and non-exempt employees 
Broad-based Human Resources Generalist experience in the following 
core areas: talent management/acquisition; learning and development; 
policies and procedures; organizational effectiveness/development; 
compensation; benefits administration; employee relations; 
metrics/analysis; project/program management 
Strong technical skills, including advanced to expert proficiency in 
Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word 
Ability to effectively operate and excel in a highly visible and 
accountable position with increasing responsibilities 
A highly motivated self-starter who requires little direction and 
who has the ability to thrive and deliver in a lean, fast paced and 
collaborative environment, focusing on performance and business 
execution 
Ability to assess situations and effectively use data and metrics as 
a tool for decision-making and taking action in a systemic and 
decisive manner 
Robust organizational, operational and process management skills 
Strong implementation focus and customer service mind-set 
Demonstrated mental agility in order to keep pace and multi-task in 
a challenging, constantly evolving and demanding environment 
Proven ability to grasp and understand business strategies and
