Responsibilities:
Lead and provide oversight for design projects related to the design 
of roadway, 
drainage, stormwater management, erosion and sediment control.   
Assist in the 
pursuit of business opportunities consistent with the program and 
firm goals.  
Assist in training and in mentoring engineers.  Participate in 
marketing activities 
including conferences, etc.   Assist in the review of contracts and 
confirm that 
contract requirements are being met.  Assist in managing projects 
from the 
identification of pursuit to final acceptance of services by the 
client.  

Qualifications: 
B.S Civil Engineering, 15 years minimum of progressively responsible 
experience in 
the public or private sector performing and managing transportation 
(primarily 
roadway design) design and related services for some combination of 
private, local, 
state and federal clients. Expert knowledge of VDOT Road Design 
Policies and 
Procedures is required. Microstation and Geopak expertise preferred. 
PE license 
and commensurate experience required.
