Seeking experienced Certified Energy Manager and/or P.E. to manage our project development process and provide comprehensive building solutions for our clients. The ideal candidate will have extensive field expertise in auditing mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems, as well as a thorough understanding of retro- commissioning processes and a familiarity with LEED certification. Job Responsibilities Execute Energy Audit and Retro-Commissioning projects and present results to customers. Lead project development process, including working closely with our operations team to create detailed project development proposals from level I, II, and III ASHRAE energy audits for multiple asset types. Perform specific feasibility analysis for capital intensive infrastructure projects. Provide project management for building energy infrastructure projects. Oversee internal quality control in the audit and project development process. Assist in business development process and participate in interviews with potential clients. Understanding of government and utility incentive programs, especially in the Northeast. Job Requirements Certified Energy Manager, professional commissioning certification from AEE, BCA, or ASHRAE P.E. License is a plus Demonstrable field experience in performing ASHRAE level II or higher audits mechanical and electrical systems and generating professional reports. Participation in completed LEED EB or EBOM certified projects is a plus. LEED accreditation is a plus. Experience with one or more computer energy simulation programs (DOE- 2.2, EnergyGauge, EnergyPlus, Green Building Studio, and eQUEST in particular) Must have ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple projects with overlapping deadlines. Must be highly organized with a demonstrated ability to handle several concurrent tasks in a professional and team-oriented manner. Excellent presentation and communication skills. Candidates should be able to present findings quickly and clearly and be able to field questions during client presentations. Bachelor’s degree in a science or engineering discipline.
